Bangalore: Justice Kuranga of Koratagere in Tumkur district, has worked as a Judge of Karnataka High Court from 1993 to 2002 . His name is being finalised for state Lokayukta post as the first SC Judge to be elevated as a Lokayukta, to gladden the hearts of all backward classes in state.

Jutice Kuranga went to chattisgarh state (next to Madhya Pradesh) in 2002  on promotion as chief Justice there, and retired in 2004.

He was never in dispute, and was not accused of any charges, during his HC tenures, claimed legal sources in judiciary here.

Justice Kuranga has solved many a criminal case with extraordinary ability, and earned good name in both states during his service. He is free from any taint and remained away from controversies which is a feather in his cap, judicial sources said, commending his choice.
