Mangaluru : A youth attacked by a gang at Dharma Nagar, Ullal on Friday, June 4 evening.

Diwakar Acharya resident of Dharma Nagar has been identified as the victim of the assault.

The assault is said to have been connected to a road accident that had occurred near Thokkottu.

It is said,  the gang arrived on the bike launched a lethal attack on the Diwakar before escaping. Diwakar has been admitted to a private hospital, Thokkottu.

A case has been registered at the Ullal police station.
