Kasargod : Muthalib (38) a real estate businessman was harshly murdered at Uppala here on Thursday October 24 night.

On Thursday night at around 10.30 Muthalib was killed while he was returning back his home.

His Business rival Kaliya Rafiq and his acquaintances involved in this murder.  Kaliya Rafiq wanted in several criminal cases.

Police said, the suspects chased him and hacked him to death with lethal weapons. 

This tragic take place 100 meters away from Muthalib’s r residence. A gang of four attackers entered the back door of car. Severely killed him with weapons.

Muthalib was taken to  Mangalore hospital, but he breathed his last on the way. Police sent the body to Periyaram Medical College for post-mortem.

Manjeshwar sub-inspector Bijulal, District SP Thomson Jose, Kumble circle inspector C B Thomas and other officials visited the spot.
