Lucknow: This Nargis is no film star, but she has won instant fame with news photographers clicking her open smiling eyes, at a community health centre in Mala block on the outskirts of Lucknow (UP) on Monday, by being the world’s 7 billionth (7,000,000,000) baby, to be sponsored along with 6 other babies.
Her mother Vinita felt proud and happy, unlike her name (humble), when the held the baby for public show. Nargis and Vinita are residents of Dhanaur village, along with father Ajay Yadav, whose first child she (Nargis) is.
Ashok Misra, Chief Health Officer at Mala block, issued the birth certificate to the child’s father in a formal ceremony on Sunday (October 31).
