Mangaluru: A grand Horekanike procession comprising around 60 vehicles was held from Nehru Maidan to Kudroli Temple on the evening of October 14, Wednesday in connection with the Brahmakalashotsava and Mangaluru Dasara celebrations of Sri Gokarnanatheshwara Temple of Kudroli. 

Brahmakalashotsava will be held at the temple on 16 Oct coincide with the Navaratri celebrations.

Horekanike processionThe procession was inaugurated at Nehru Maidan by senior leader B Janardhan Poojari. Vehicles arrived carrying Horekanike from various parts of the district and across the state took part. Even people of different faiths offered hore kanike marking solidarity.

Mangaluru city corporation mayor Jecintha Alfred, Temple Management board President HS Sairam, Raghavendra Kulur, Harikrishna Bantwal and several others were present.
