Mangalore : A house located at Alape, was gutted in fire on May 20, Sunday at 10:00 a.m.

The house belongs to Narayan, who is working at Devi Printing Press in Hampankatta.

The incident took place, as Narayan lit the lamp for Morning Prayer and left for work. Later the flames spread all over destroying the whole house.

As soon as the neighbors noticed the fire coming out of the house, they immediately informed Narayan and the fire brigade.

The fire incident caused a huge loss of Rs. 2 lakh.

The case was registered at Kankanady police station.
