Mangalore : Dr. Veerendra Hegde, Padmabushan, Dharmadhikari Shree Kshetra Darmastala, inaugurated new Cancer Institute at A.J Insstitute Campus on Wednesday April 24. He also handed over NABH Certificates.

The program was inaugurated with the lighting of lamps by the dignitaries. Mr. AJ Shetty, Dr. Prashanth Marla and Dr. Amita P. Marla received NABH Certificates from Dr. Veerendra Hegde.

Dr. Veerendra Hegde praised Mr. AJ Shetty for his yeoman service in the field of medicin and it’s service’s for the poor and downtrodden.  A research institute is very much appreciated by post graduate students in the medical field. He further said that the new inventions in the field of medical science had extended human life span and even the poor and backward classes can get best of health care in these days due to Institution like the one Mr. Shetty has started.

The new cancer center has been designed to ensure stress free stay for patients.  He apealed  to the Insurance Companies to coordinate with Cancer Hospitals for the proper insurance schemes for the patients. He congratulated AJ Institute for getting NABH accreditation certification.    

Dr. Prashanth Marla  welcomed the gathering. AJ Shetty delivered the key-note address.

Dr. KS Sriprakash, Vice Chancellor, Rajivgandhi Univarsity of Health Sciences of Bangalore, Ajay Kumar Chairman Corporation Bank, Anilkumar Regional Mamager Indian overseas Bank, K Karthikeya Varma Director Malabar Institute of Medical Science were present on the dais.
