Mangaluru: “As a part of world paralysis day A J Hospital and research centre is organising six days paralysis camp for the patients at the reduced cost from November 7-12,” said hospital neurologist Dr Suresh B V.

Addressing the media personnel on Friday, he said that C B C, F B S, Serum creative, Lipid profile, Carotid doplar sladi, ECG, CT and other facilities will be provided in reduced cost package. The package includes the consultation charges also.

He further said that there are many reason to be the victims of paralysis. High BP, diabetes, increase in cholesterol level and smoking addicted people also can be the victims of it. Paralysed people can be effectively treated if they are brought to the hospital within 3-4 hours after the attack.

“Mouth of the paralysis patient will be twisted to one side. Half portion of the body will be weakened. Imbalance of the body is the symptoms of the paralysis. It can be cured if immediate treatment is provided,” he added.
