Mangalore: An unidentified man found murdered in MCC Bayalu Ranga Mandir near Urwa Marigudi temple here on Thursday October 23 morning.

The deceased has been identified as Nanrayana (42). The person was murdered by hitting with a huge stone on his head.

Sources said, the deceased driver by profession also electrician. The incident happened after midnight of Wednesday.

The bed sheet, footwear and other items were found near the dead body.

Police commissioner R Hitendra, deputy police commissioner Vishnuvardhan, along with Urwa police visited the spot.

A case has been registered in Urwa police station.
