Bantwal: A person injured after a bus collided with lorry and then to a petty shop at Mani junction on Tuesday.

Ramakrishna (34) of Ilanthila, Uppinangady is the person who is injured in the accident.

The bus was plying from Bengaluru to Mangaluru. It collided with the lorry when lorry suddenly came on the road. Then the bus hit a petty shop near the road and dragged it till it hit a tree.

Petty shop has been damaged completely and the front portion of the bus has been damaged.

Owner of petty shop had left the shop just 10 minutes before and many people who were waiting for the bus beside the road had caught the bus few minutes before only. The incident could have turned into a major tragedy if it would have happened few minutes earlier.
