Mangalore: A large number of students affiliated to ABV Parishad conducted inter-district anti-corruption rallies as on Tuesday culminating in a final demonstration in this port city.
The students rally commenced on September 28, encompassing Shimoga, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts.
The ABVP students started from KPT college circle and converged at Kadri Park with teachers on Tuesday, October.4.
Dharma Prasad a Syndicate member from Kuvempu University of Shimoga,speaking on the occasion, stated that the central Govt. followed corrupt practices and suicidal economy by degradation activities, that hurt Indian Banks and left a colossal amount of Rs.4 lakh crores rotting in European banks from Indian trade, commence and services.
The Govt. permitted only a select few, he added, to enrich themselves by exploiting the natural resources and deposit the illegal money abroad.
In the 7 day rally, over 1000 students walked more than 1000 kms, coming from several colleges in 3 districts.
