Mangaluru : In a road accident a MBBS student died on the spot at Madani Nagar, near Kuttar here on Monday December 8.

The deceased has been identified as Saravanan U (28) from Tamil Nadu and his co rider sustained injuries in the accident.

Sources said, Sharvan was riding pillion with a friend on a Pulsar bike. When his friend tried to overtake another vehicle from the wrong side, their bike hit the tipper and pillion seated Saravanan felt under its tyres. He died on spot.

The deceased Saravanan was a 2nd year MBBS student at Yenepoya Medical College. His friend, Bike riders identity is not yet known.

Ullal police have registered a case.
