Mangalore : Bharat alias Prabhu a murder accused was brutally murdered at Moodushedde near Pilikula here on July 11, Friday.

Sources said, two unidentified perpetrators who came on a motorbike brutally assaulted Prabhu with lethal weapons.

Bharat alias Prabhu, was the prime accused in the murder of Kadle Manju in 2009. He also faces several criminal cases including the murder case.

The duo immediately ran away after Prabhu shattered on ground.

Kavoor Police arrived to the spot and shifted the dead body to Wenlock Hospital.

A case has been registered at Kavoor police station.

Investigations are on.
