Mangalore : MLA J R Lobo said Kadri Park will start expansion works in cooperation with MUDA, Horticulture Department and the MCC soon. Project will complete next 12 to 15 months.

Lobo visited Kadri Park on Tuseday Oct 1st along with officials. Dr K R Shetty and others submitted a memorandum to lobo for the renovation and maintenance of Kadri Park.

Mr Lobo said that the plan for the developmental works is ready, the estimated cost of the project is around Rs 5 crore, nearly 2.30 crore has already been sanctioned.

He said that A musical fountain will be raise in the old deer park opposite to the present park, remaining 50 cents will be consume for children play area. A commercial complex planned to build sides of the road.

The total area of the Park is 1.75 acre. The present Kadri park is to be changed into a general park, that will take in jogging and walking track.

MCC Commissioner Ajith Kumar Hegde, officials Mohammed Nazeer,Rajendra Kalbhavi, Praveen, Dr K R Shetty, Architect Vasanth Pai, and others were present.
