Mangalore : A new world of science has been created at Pilikula Science Centre by hundreds of budding young scientists from various schools of Dakshina Kannada who have put their skills and knowledge to Test at the science exhibition.
The Inspire Award Science Exhibition for higher primary and high school students being held at Pilikula is organized by the Department of Public Instructions and Regional Science Centre of Pilikula.
A total of 2076 science models are on display in this exhibition which will be held upto July 9. Every day science models from students of schools from one taluk are exhibited. Already 392 models from schools in Mangalore taluk have been exhibited;. A total of 471 models from Bantwal taluk, 371 from Belthangady taluk and 393 from Puttur taluk have been displayed.
Sudhaker Rao Pejawar, President of Science Teachers Forum hss said a total of 200 models would be selected and of them 105 models will be sent to the state level while the rest 95 students would be honoured with district level awards.
All the participant children will get certificates.
