Mangaluru : A Kinnigoli person arrested under POCSO act on the charges of raping a minor girl by the city police.

The arrested person is Muhammad Naushad (25) son of Mayyaddi, resident of Ullanje, Mannabettu, Kinnigoli Mulki.

A complaint was earlier lodged against him in Pandeshwar women’s police station in connection with the alleged rape of a 17 year old girl.

It has been gathered that he is an accused in the Deepak Rao murder case reported from Suratkal three years ago.
