Sullia: A road accident between motorbike and pick up van, PUC Student lost his life on the spot near Edoli in Subrahmanya-Sullia road on Wednesday, March 5.
The deceased was identified as Vishwas G, son of Janu Naik from Gowrigundi House in Halkur village. He was sitting with a rear seat and a Kaushik resident of Valalambe was riding the motorbike, he hospitalized with critical injuries.
Vishwas G and Kaushik who were pursuing Arts subject in to Subrahmanya PU College were on their way to the house after collecting their hall tickets. The accident occurred when they were returning to their home towards Guttigar.
It is said that, the motor bike was hit the pickup jeep, the impact of the collision was such that both boys were thrown off the road near Edoli bend.
The rear seated Vishwas, died on spot knocking his head to the ground, Kaushik survived with minor injuries to chest and hands. He shifted to the private hospital in Puttur.
Kaushik had won the bike in a lucky dip draw last year. The motor bike has not been registered even after a year. He had no license.
