Mangalore : A resident of Jeppu Patna who went fishing was found drowned in the Netravati river near Mahakali Padpu, Jappinamogeru on April 4.
The deceased is identified as Paul Lobo (50).
According to the sources, three other people along with Paul had gone for picking cockles in the river. After finishing picking them, three moved in same direction, while Paul moved to another direction.
These three started searching for Paul, when they did not find him return back for long time.
The police and the fire brigade reached the spot as soon as the locals informed them.
