Mangalore : A rowdy sheeter and murder accused Prakash (26) was murdered in broad daylight near NITK Bus Stop, Suratkal on Tuesday, Febraury 4.

Prakash who was released on bail recently, he had to come to sign the register in Panambur Police Station with his father. His first hearing in the case was scheduled on Tuesday,

When he returning to Udupi, a group of unidentified men came in a Maruti Omni, barged into the bus, dragged out Prakash and hacked him to death with a lethal weapons, Eye witnesses said.

Prakash,was an accused in the murder of Shivaraj who was murdered in 2012,near Thokur railway track.

The body has been shifted to the Wenlock Hospital. Suratkal police have registered a case.
