Bangalore : The Karnataka High Court’s new bench will give an hear the plea of 5 independent MLA’s against their disqualification on Nov 2.
J.S. Khehar, Chief Justice and Justice N. Kumar were suppose to hear the plea of the independent legislators with the petition of the 11 BJP law makers, has differed the action of the speaker on the BJP legislators’ issue.
Chief Justice Khehar upheld the disqualification of BJP legislators, Justice Kumar cancelled it.
A single judge bench will decide the issue of BJP legislators on Oct 20 based on the differences of two judges.
The two judges decided that the plea of the five independent legislators should be heard by a different bench based on the differing views on the BJP law makers’ issue.
