Bangalore: BJP has published its manifesto for ZP/ Taluk Panchayat elections due as on Dec 26 and 31 in 2 phases. In coastal districts the elections will take place on the last day of year 2010.
The manifesto issued on Friday promises farming loans at 1% to agriculturists of the state and an amount of Rs.2 crores to each ZP/TP if BJP wins at polls. Homeless followers of BJP will be provided with homes, says party chief Eashwarappa, national secretary and MP HN Ananth Kumar, Energy Minister Shobha Karandlaje and Home Minister R. Ashoka who form the inner circle of CM Yeddyurappa.
The Flood Relief Funds collected still remain with BJP with no housing for the flood stricken people so far. No farmer whose house was destroyed ever got a new house, but farmers commit suicide still.
There is talk of setting up a Rural India Force and Special Form Zones in Karnataka. For BJP there are no opposition parties in state but the governor is the opposition leader, Eashwarappa said.
