Mangalore :  Giving Zakath to every poor is essential thing one can do because the poor people have right on it, said Haji Y Abdul Kunni, Vice Chancellor Yenepoya University, Derlakatte.

Speaking after inaugurating the event organized on ‘A Study on Zakath’ held at Town Hall on August 10, Tuesday. He also said that, Zakath is a kind of book which has to be distributed among the poor people.

The work must be done after identifying the beneficiary. The organization will also distribute the Zakath by delivering it to the each and every house where it is required, he added.

He also said that this kind of programme will be helpful for Mangalorean Muslims.

Mansoor Ahmed Azad, convener of Voice of Quran welcomed the guest and gathering. H I Abusufyan Madani, chairman of Voice of Quran presided over the function. M Abdul Hameed Musliyar rendered invocation. P M Ibrahim Musliyar Bekal, Qazi Udupi presented the seminar on the occasion.
PM Abbas Musliyar of Al Madina Manjanady, Ibrahiom Bawa Haji Mangalore, editor of Al Ansar Weekly., SM Abdurashid Haji, SMR Group, Mangalore and others were present on the occasion.
