Singapore: A youth from Mangalore (Yekkur) traveled recently to Singapore, Thailand and other South East Asian countries to experience the delights of modern tourism opened up for young travelers across Asia. Sudheer Yekkur went to those countries on guided tour on February last. He explained his various traveling experiences to Mega Media, including a dance show. He brought back pictures of Phuket and Thai Pagodas (Buddhist Shrines) at Bangkok, Chiangmai and Singapore.
Sudheer found the men’s only Dance show to be spectacular and worth seeing, with dancing in many ways and postures in Singapore. He found their cheap but amazing. The Alcazar show crowned his trip to Pattaya.
Koh Lann was an island, few miles of the coast of Pattaya. It has 4 sq.km landmass, just 7km from Pattaya bay. One can go on a boat-ride for 45 minutes to this landmass surrounded by tranquil scenery and glass clear waters.
The Koh Lann Island offers Para-sailing, water skiing and Jetskis. Deep sea diving here promises to see and abundance of coral and undersea life waiting to be discovered.
A glass-bottom boat ride allows one to put on diving equipments to go undersea. The Tien Beach is kept clean and retains tranquility in view of minimum beach disturbance.
Walking Street is a vibrant part of Pattaya city and traffic-free at night 6pm to 2am. There are bars, discotheques, sports centres with girls around. Live music is plenty along this street.
The wild life kingdom is in Sri Racha Tiger Zoo show, just 2 hours from Bangkok, with hundreds of stripped tigers on playgrounds.
Apart from so many tigers on view, a crocodile farm, one of the largest in Asia, has over 1 lakh crocodiles. There are many shows with animals participating. There are amazing circus shows, tiger and crocodile shows. They are quite entertaining.
Bangkok is the Capital city of present Chakri dynasty, containing Buddhist temples, palaces, Venice of East Canal and river scenes, classical dance shows and several shopping centres.
Alcar Show is a must when you visit Pattaya in Eastern Thailand, where boys put on Ladies’ roles.
