Mangaluru : A group of 10 persons attacked a youth in broad daylight at Kankanady here on Thursday April 2.

The victim Naseer (22) who hails from Farangipete was beaten up at Kankanady. It is said that the miscreants on five bikes had followed the bus in which Naseer was plying and at Kankanady, they had pulled out from the bus and thrashed him.

He was accompanied by his cousin Malik and and friend Nisar, they were not assaulted.

He was then shifted to a private hospital by his cousins who were travelling with him.

Naseer’s father registered complaint against Sandesh Kumpala, Gautam Maripalla, Bharatkumar, Manoj Acharya and Santhosh Thumbay.

A case has been registered in Kadri police station.
