Udupi : A youth from Shashankpura in Udupi district died on spot in a road accident on July 11, Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Shashank Sanil (24) he was the only son of Mahesh and Sumathi resident of Arsikatte, Bantakal.

Shashank Sanil dropped his mother at the bus stand and when he was returning back after dropping his mother this incident occurred.

When he was trying to overtake a bus hit another bus moving towards Belman, as the result he died on spot.

Shashank was employed at a garage as a painter and was also pursuing his PU study through a private institution. Shashank was a good volley ball player also.

A case has been registered at Shirva police station.
