Mangalore: In the resent State elections in 5 states including Delhi, were congress ruled for 15 years at a stretch, when Sheila Dixit remained as CM for 3 terms in a row, the newcomer AAP led by Aravind Kejriwal bagged 28 out of 70 seats, which is a massive win to be celebrated all over India by common man or Members of the new Party.
In Mangalore the AAP men were jubilant on their extraordinary success in the Delhi elections against ruling Congress and national BJP outfits, especially when Anna Hazare was not in the AAP leadership.
The buoyant AAP activists and office-bearers of D.K unit took out a victory procession from Jyothi circle to Neharu Maidan to celebrate their joyous achievement, on Thursday 12 in the evening, shouting slogans like “Aam Admi Zindabad, and Victory to Kejriwal and other leaders” of AAP on the roads.
Addressing the happy gathering and curious citizens of the coastal belt the convener of AAP (R Rosario) told that the Party was a laughing stock to the elder brothers, in congress and BJP before the resent elections, and now we are all smiles at them. Nowhere in history of India has any Party managed to secure such a success as we in the common man’s Party have received beyond our own expectations.
The Delhi people as a whole are with us in our fight against national corruptions, excessive greed of the rulers at the Center and Delhi, and wanted a clean administration in a transparent way in Delhi and all over India. We shall not leave any bad practices in public life go unpunished, Robert Rosario the convener of AAP in D.K district said.
Speaking after him party’s local advisory committee member S. Nandagopal stated that his AAP flag was flying high in Delhi now, when only a few days ago the former Delhi CM Sheila Dixit, had called this new party as a non-entity in the presents of two national party’s. He added that AAP would continue to grow and spread its influence in all states before long and people like Sheila Dixit would be reduced to a non-entity in view of their egoism practised in the midst of common people.
AAP party members Ajay Kumar, Sulochana, Vinod Rao, Sathish Rao, Roshan Ullal, Dharmendra, Sachitha Nandagopal and others were present at the Victory Rally. Sweets were distributed to the people at the venue.
