Mangalore : As part of its electioneering, the district unit of Aam Aadmi Party staged a road show in the city on April 12, Saturday, which was a model code of conduct, since they the party had used for campaigning.
The party flagged off their road show at Pumpwell circle and moved towards through Kankanady, Bendorewell circle, Jyoti circle, Hampanakatta and concluded at DC office.
Speaking on the occasion, AAP Lok Sabha candidate M R Vasudeva urged the voters to exercise their franchise to defeat the political parties involved in corruption.
He also said that the ideas of the party will benefit the common man and assured to work for the development of the district.
The road show was held prior to the meeting to be convened for April 13, Sunday, addressed by the party’s leader top national leader and star campaigner Yogendra Yadav.
As per the Central Election Commission, the party has engaged school kids to take the lead in the rally and wore the party’s caps and holding a banner that said, ‘our candidate is M R Vasudev’, which is violation of rule.
