Bangalore: The notorious PDP leader A.N. Madani, connected with the 2008 Bangalore Blasts case and now out of jail, is again sought after by Karnataka Police, a team by CIP Siddappa on the move, from the clutches of Kerala Police at his camp in Anwarassery, with relevant documents against Madani, when Karnataka High Court had rejected his “anticipatory bail” plea outright only last week.
Madani claims he is innocent, but would co-operate with the judiciary if arrested. But Kerala Police have misgivings about riots following on at his present residence. Madani had fever and was examined by local doctors. Radical outfits like PFI were under the scanner of Kerala Police, who are concerned more with President Pratibha Patil’s visit to Kerala as imminent.
