Mangaluru: Akhila Bharata Vidhyarthi Parishath (ABVP) held bike rally to mark the 17th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas on Tuesday from Jyothi circle to Bunts Hostel.

Tejaswi, Divisional Organising Secretary of ABVP inaugurated the rally. After inaugurating the rally he said that we are commemorating the sacrifices of those soldiers who fought for this country.

“They fought till their last breath for us. The students should be inspired by such soldiers. To encourage the students and to build patriotism in them this rally has been organised,” he said.

He further said that today the whole Indian community should salute those soldiers who saved India from the attacks of Pakistan. We will never forget the fearlessness of those soldiers.

Division Co-Convenor Chetan Padil, City Secretary Hitesh and others were present.
