Mangalore: The students of various colleges took part in an anti corruption rally which was held as part of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad’s (ABVP) nationwide campaign against corruption within the central government of India on July 27, Wednesday.
The rally commenced at Jyothi Circle and ended at Town Hall.
The state president of ABVP, Vasanth Kumar said that centre is lacking ability to check these corrupt activities and responsible in increasing corrupt policies within India.
Speaking on the 2G scam, he said that even the prime minister and the home minister are involved in it which shameful act.
During the protest rally, students demanded the central government to bring back the black money stashed in various foreign banks, implementation of the Jan Lokpal Bill and that e-Governance be brought into force to make electoral reforms and the functioning of the government more transparent.
RSS leader Pushparaj Jain, presided over the event. ABVP leaders Swathi, Jagadish Kaapumale, Akshatha, Dasharath, and others were also present.
