Mangalore : The members of Akhila Bharathiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) staged a protest on Feb 4 Saturday, demanding immediate arrest of P. Chidambaram, the union home minister, for his involvement in the 2G Spectrum scam.

As a part of the protest, a large number of students created a human chain at Basaveshwara Circle near KPT.

Addressing the protestors, Vinay Horatti, Organizing Secretary said that Chidambaram, has played a major role in the Rs. 1.76 lakh crore 2G Spectrum scam, hence he must not only resign from the post, but also be imprisoned. 

He also said that even Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is involved in the scam and the the case must be handed over to the CBI.

ABVP members like Ravi, Aneesh, P. Ullas, Bindu Madhav, Mitel, Yathish Kumar, and others are present.
