Mangalore:  Members of ABVP staged a protest at Bunts Hostel Circle demanding resignation of  Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over the coal  block scandal. The protest was as part of a nationwide protest and college bundh call given by ABVP and Youth against Corruption (YAC).

The protestors demanded that the  prime minister should step down owning moral responsibility and also demanded a judicial probe.

Other demands placed were to bring back black money of Indians deposited in foreign banks.

In Udupi, Kundapur : Protests were also staged by ABVP activists in Udupi and Kundapur. In Udupi,  students took out a rally and gathered near service bus stand for a protest meeting. ABVP District Convenor Raj Shanker addressed the meeting.

In Kundapur too the ABVP staged a protest. Students of  Bhandarkar’s College, Koteshwar Government College, and other colleges took part in the protest.
