Mangalore: Akhila Bharatha Vidhyarthi Parishath member organized a demonstration to display the carry over system for polytechnic college, in front of deputy commissioner’s office on July 22, Thursday.
During the protest, the members of ABVP urged that the college is unfair on their part by scrapping off the carry over system and they have been continued from past many years, he added.

They also said that, the government polytechnic college functioning in the state is lacking from many basic needs and facilities. They also demanded to fill the vacant post in the polytechnic colleges immediately.
If the college administration fails to fulfill the demand, ABVP will demonstrate a state level protest, they warned.
Later a memorandum regarding the matter was handed over to DC on the occasion.
