Mangaluru : Akhil Bharaitya Vidhyarthi Parishad(ABVP) will hold a protest against Mangaluru University for Degree results and delay in Marks card. The protest will be supported by ABVP in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kodagu districts on February 11.
Speaking the media on February 09, Thursday ABVP member Hithesh Bekal said that the university conducting answer paper valuations from the outsourcing and paying Rs 120/- for each student to publish the results. The functioning of the university left a lot to be desired in the last two-years. The announcement of results is one among the primary functions of the university also questionable, he said.
Further he stated that before Rs 60 was charged as for the results but now the students pay double but results do not reach students on time. About 210 colleges under Mangaluru universities and 85,000 students are pursuing education .Every year 1.2 crore to announce the result by outsourcing which has led to the confusion has made the student panic.
ABVP will be forced to intensify the agitation if the university does not take corrective measures to the examination related issues raised by the organization. They demand the resignation of Chancellor, Vice-chancellor and registrar as these three persons are directly responsible for this situation.
