Mangalore: ABVP attached to BJP as a youth wing, has organised a state level Srishti 2012’ (creation) project expo competition for only engineering student on May 12 to 14 at the Sahyadri College, outside the city limits.

The competitions with an exhibition arranged at the venue will depict working models and mini-projects of final year student, under the umbrella of ‘ Avishkar’(developments) of technical projects, papers, ideas and impacts with science Technology used for human empowerment and solutions found to certain problems faced by the people who from the nation.

Over 50,000 visitors are expected to attend the show, as industrialists, academicians and curious people.

Small-seale industrial unit owners and ancillary production units representatives, will also attend, it is hoped.

Budding engineers have a fine opportunity to exhibit their new or latest inventions, and to interact with people of industry, markets and academic entities.

Prizes worth Rs 3 lakhs would be givens away, and a trophy of championship is up for grabs, among the talented boys and girls, it is said.
