Mangalore  : A door-to-door campaign aimed at creating an awareness on women’s rights was organised by the Forum Against Atrocities on Women here on March 3, Sunday. Eminent writer Saara Aboobakker who was also present  extended her full support for the cause.

The activists also raised donations for Women’s Day celebrations on March 8.

The activists distributed hand outs and pamphlets in order to sensitize the society and create n awareness on the rise in crime against women including harassment, sexual assault, dowry related crimes etc.

The organization would be holding various  programmes including seminars and rallies from March 6 to 8.
