Mangalore: A seminar on Rural Administration was organized in Mangalore on August 9, Wednesday under the auspices of Mangalore Management Association, National Institute of Personnel Management, Mangalore Division and SDM College of Business Management.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr LH Manjunath, Executive Director of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project said the project has gone a long way in bringing a positive change in the lives of rural people and also helped in their economic empowerment.
The project has also made families self –reliant and encouraged the habit of savings among them.
He said the Project business stood at Rs 5500crores in 11 districts in the past ten years.
Dr Devaraj K, Director of SDM College of Business Management, presided over the function. TG Shenoy, MMA President, M Shekhar Poojari, President of NIPM and others were present on the occasion.
