Bangalore: Actor Darshan Toogudeepa alias Prisoner No.8993 in Parappana Agrahara Central Jail, was discharged from RG Heart Diseases hospital on September 21(Wednesday) morning and taken back to the  Parappana Agrahara Central Jail under watchful police escort as a criminal.

An ACP, 3 IPs and over 50 constables accompanied the screen hero to his hole in the jail from the hospital. Darshan was taken in an Ambulance with armed guards, as there was anxiety over his fans, friends, and dependent producers making noises.

Director of the RG Hospital, Dr.S.Buggi mentioned that Actor Darshan was in medical care for 12 days, during which the patient did not misbehave with any medical personnel. He wondered if the same person had ill-treated his wife 2 weeks earlier, in a drunken mood. Dr.S.Buggi stated that Darshan expressed his gratitude to one and all.

All the prison, he is a jailbird facing enquiry. Darshan may be placed in D block cell where MLA Katta S.Naidu is cooling his heels in a land grab case. He will be in jail till he gets a bailment.
