Udupi: Adani UPCL has announced a grant of Rs 10 crore for developing ponds at Yellur, Mudarangadi and Padubidri.

Kishore Alva, joint president of Adani UPCL made the announcement during the opening of the concrete road around Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple, Palimaru. The work on the road was taken at a cost of Rs 10.15 lakh under CSR fund.

Kishore Alva said that the development of ponds in Kaup constituency would solve the drinking water problem. He added that if the Grama Panchayats of Padubidri, Mudarangadi and Palimaru sanctioned land, the company would also construct a full fledged sports complex in those villages.
