Bengaluru: Aditya Alva who was recently arrested by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) police in connection with the drugs case has been remanded to judicial custody.
Alva, son of former minister Jeevaraj Alva was untraceable since September after his name surfaced in the Sandalwood drugs case. He was arrested on January 11 from Chennai and produced before the court which remanded him to 7-day police custody for interrogation.
Sources informed that the police did not seek to extend his police custody because Alva allegedly has been tutored by his law advisers and has not revealed anything during the course of his interrogation.
Alva is lodged in the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison.
