Mangalore , 2011: Chikmanglur MLA CT Ravi said that Jana Chethna Yatra is Advani’s 6th yatra and will arrive to Mangalore on October 31, Monday.
Giving the brief on earlier yatra’s CT Ravi said that 1st yatra was the Ram Ratha Yatra in the year 1990, second was Jana Deshi Yatra in 1993, Swarna Jayanthi Ratha Yatra in 1997, Bharath Uday Yatra in 2004, Bharath Suraksha Yatra in 2006 and this is the sixth yatra which has been started on September 11 on Jayaprakash Narayan’s birthday from his birth place Sithabdi of Bihar.
He also said that the Yatra will cover six states and will travel 10,000 kilometer. The yatra will arrive Karnataka on October 30. Advani has started his yatra with the aim to have good administration through good politics and have clean politics and bring the black money from the Swiss Bank. The yatra will also create awareness against corruption, he said.
Advani will be welcomed in Mangalore on October 31, Monday and will attend the stage programme to be held at Central Maidan at 10 am,. He said that around 30 divisions will be done in Belthangady and Bantwal, adding that 1000 BJP workers from there will come to Mangalore in a padayatra and will participate in the public gathering.
After the yatra in Mangalore, he will proceed Udupi, Karwar and Goa, he said.
Speaking on allegation against State Home minister R Ashok, he said that that investigation is going on and not mentioned as culprit. The State Governemtn has taken resignation from Former CM B S Yeddyurappa after he was claimed guilty, but the ministers like Raj Kumar, Delhi CM Shiela Dixit and Home Minister Chidambaram is also claimed guilty in various scams and they have not resigned from their post. But BJP will not protect its accused ministers involved in any scams.
