Mangalore : Bantwal MLA B. Ramanath Rai, said that former CM B. S. Yeddyurappa had earlier assured to establish a state without huts, but he had never build a house for the poor.

He was speaking at the press meet held at District Congress office on October 26, Wednesday. He also said that following the foot step of former CM, present CM D. V. Sadananda Gowda is now assuring to give patholes free roads.

Criticizing the comments made by CM D. V. Sadananda Gowda’s statement, he said that he is making an attempt to justify corruption in state and Delhi.

He said that BJP has no faith in Lokayukta nor in the judiciary, hence BJP should first learn to respect the authority of these esteemed bodies.

Commenting on Jan Chetana Ratha Yatra, he said that Advani’s yathra must not enter the state, unless he clears up the corruption in his own party.

Congress leaders Kodijal Ibrahim, Ivan D’Souza; Shashidhar Hegde, the former mayor; Mithun Rai, the president of the district youth Congress; and many others were present.
