Mangaluru : Thieves broke the rear window of advocate Arun Shetty’s car parked on K.S. Road and made away with Rs. 5 lakh kept in the car on Thursday.

The Mangaluru North police said the advocate had parked his vehicle near the Joy Alukkas showroom and had gone to purchase books at the Sapna Book Stall.

When he returned he found somebody had broken part of the rear window and had taken away the bag containing the cash.
