Mangaluru : JMFC court allowed four days of police custody to Lawyer K S N Rajesh, who is accused in the case of sexual harassment of law student in his office recently.
Rajesh, who has been accused of sexually harassing a law student, surrendered in the court on Monday December 20. The police had sought seven days of police custody of the accused in the third JMFC court of the city. However, Justice Ashwini Kore allowed to take the accused to four days of police custody.
The advocate had evaded arrest for about two months even though the police made some arrests, questioned many people, served lookout notice and froze his bank accounts.
A case about sexual harassment was registered in the women’s police station here against the advocate in question on October 18 this year.
