Mangaluru: Likeminded lawyers protested against the delay in the completion work of the 300 meters court road that leads to the District Court, on Thursday.
It has been 4 years since the court road work began but is yet to see completion. During the protest, the angry advocates claimed that though a hefty amount of 12 crore rupees has been granted for the 300 meters long road, the work done is of poor quality.
Due to the poor quality of work, hill slide during monsoon seasons will further spoil the road which cannot be ignored. Property owners in the vicinity of the road have illegally annexed public property meant for the road and J.R. Lobo has completely supported this, alleged the likeminded lawyers.
The lawyers threatened to intensify their protest if the road work was not completed as soon as possible.
