Mangaluru : After waiting one year a businessman from Ullal received his favorite motorbike at two lakh sixty-three thousand costs.
Jithin the owner Camp21 homestay at Uchila in Mangalore and resident of Ullal is now Owner of Jawa Perak motorbike.
After the wait due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Jawa Perak started deliveries across the country amid much excitement. The deliveries were earlier scheduled to commence on April 2, 2020. The first bike in Mangalore from Taj motors was delivered to Mr. Jithin.
What is the Jawa Perak
Its 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke, DOHC engine earlier made 30.64PS and 31Nm of peak torque. According to Classic Legends, ‘meticulous’ fine-tuning of the motor and addition of the new cross port technology has resulted in the maximum torque increasing to 32.74Nm. The power remains identical though. The engine is offered with a 6-speed gearbox.

Jawa Perak’s chassis has been ‘completely reworked’, claims Classic Legends. There is a new swingarm as well. The front gets telescopic hydraulic forks, 18-inch tyre, and a single 280mm disc, while the rear has 7-step adjustable monoshock, 17-inch tyre, and a single 240mm disc. The bobber comes with a standard dual-channel ABS.

That quintessential bobber design of Jawa Perak is something you simply can’t ignore. Like all the bobbers, the Perak features a single floating seat and an LED taillamp that is integrated into the seat. There is a halogen headlamp at the front. The upside-down analogue speedometer with digital odometer, bar-end mirrors, bobbed fenders and chopped twin exhausts combine to give a classic touch to the motorcycle.
