Mangaluru: The Haj operations from Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) are scheduled to be operated from August 4 to August 7.
A release from MIA here said Air India flights would commence operations from MIA to Medina daily at 11.05 a.m. facilitating travel of the pilgrims from Mangaluru.
The old terminal building of MIA would be utilised for departure of Hajj pilgrims, Airport Director J.T. Radhakrishna, stated in a release.
Air India would deploy A-320 type aircraft for the Haj operations, to be operated via Sharjah.
The second phase of Haj operation would commence in September.
