Mangalore : AJ Hospital in Mangalore has installed a new Elastography  Technology Philips IU 22 Ultrasound equipment. A workshop in this regard will be held at the Conference Hall of AJ Institute of Medical Sciences on September 8, Sunday. Dr Nitin Chubal of Mumbai, will be  the guest speaker on the occasion, informed Dr Prashanth Marla, Medical Director of the Hospital.

Speaking to reporters here,  he said  doctors and post graduate medical students from Karnataka and Kerala will take part in the workshop. He said the Elastography Technology helps in detecting  tumours of prostate and cervix.

Dr Ganesh, Dr Ravindra and Dr Bhasker Urs were present.
