Mangalore : Ajay Sports Club ® Kulai, Mangalore will organize two days ‘Tulunaddha Tuluvera Parba’ at ‘Chandu Bai Gobbudha Kala’ of Sri Venkataramana School, Kulai on Oct 27, Saturday and Oct 28, Sunday.

Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Oct 22, Monday K L Pejawar, chief convener of the event, he said Dharmastala  Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade will inaugurate the event on Oct 27 at 4 pm and K Suresh Bhandary Mumbai will inaugurate the Ajay Vidyanidhi Scheme. Dr Mohan Alva will preside over the event.

He also said that the event is being organized to promote and protect the culture of tulunadu and its rural games among the young generation.

The organisation will host rural games like ‘Olitha Sotthulu’, ‘Goli’, ‘Lagori’ for children upto 1 std to 7 std, Tulu Folk song, ‘baccha Gobbunu’ and painting of tulunadu for children from 8th std to 10th std.

There will be also ‘Gidigobbu, Kuttidhonne, Thappangai, Lagori for boys. Jibilee, Tonka, Usuludha gobbu, chennemane for girls. Mudikattunu, Porludha Mundas, Koridha Katta for men. Madal Madepunu, Beedi rolling, chennemane for women. Games like Beera, Paddhana and Ural for senior citizens and other games.

The organisation will felicitate the senior people for their service in small works like Khadri Saheb, Mutthappanna Kodikere, Lucy Bai Kulai, Dhammanna from Mahakali Temple, Bharath Kumar, Gangadhar Kulai, Guddanna Moolya, Varija Kulai, Sadashiva Acharya Kulai and Yamuna Kulai.

Chief honourary president Ganesh Hosabettu, president Yadava Shetty, Vice president Bharath Kumar Shetty, secretary Ajith Kumar Shetty were present at the present.
