Mangalore : The Crime Branch police have  made three arrests in connection with the murder of Kumar (18) near Akashbhavan in Mangalore .   The arrest took place on June 19, Tuesday at a bar at BC Road.

The arrested are :  Gaurish of Bajal, Harsharaj of Kulshekhar and Gautam, a painter and resident of Akashbhavan.

A gang rivalry was suspected to be the cause of the murder of Kumar on the night of June 15 by a gang of assailants which arrived by a car. The assailants were said to be belonging to the gang of  one Santosh while the killed belonged to a rival gang.

Further investigations are in progress.
